Delayed post.

First and foremost happy belated Tamil New Year to all tamils, hope you had a great new year's day. I certainly had a very satisfactory prayers at home to kick start my Tamil New Year. No,i wasnt waiting for Tamil New Year before i decided to blog again but i was due to blog yesterday alas laziness got the better of me yet again.Being a thinker, most of the time there would be a lot of things running in my mind and i would decide to blog but den again before i start to blog, those things in mind would have been evaporated.Haiz. Lol anyway, just a few days more before i start school and i cant wait.I have had enough of this long bloody holidays,i miss school and my crazy gang.:)
I guess its gonna be a long enough post so pls visit the toilet before u carry on.

Yeah, that's the store that has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. After having rojak from this famous store in Geylang,a total of 154 people had food poisoning of which 48 people had to be hospitalised and two have already passed on. The cause has been identified as a common source outbreak of Vibrio parahaemolyticus traced to the cross—contamination of rojak and raw seafood ingredients harbouring the bacteria," said MOH.After this particular case, all of a sudden new cases of food poisoning have reared their heads from no way.The truth is scary because from the newspaper article that i was reading from, there are a lot of stalls here that are not following common safety procedures such as even handling raw noodles with a pair of gloves instead they have been snapped handling such food items with their bare hands.Coming back to this particular case in Geylang,i actually feel for the people involved as in the people who have accused of causing the food poisoning. This store has been running for a considerable number of years and has no such bad records before. Its a famous store because of the good food they are known to prepare that is the reason why people keep on going back to the shop.Whatever im going to say next though is my own opinion. Why cant it be that some other stall owner who is jealous of this particular stall for obvious reasons may have used black magic to cause such an incident.Just for those who haven been keeping tabs on this headliner, the "Rojak Geylang Serai" stall owner’s licence will be suspended pending the outcome of the court action, said a joint statement by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and National Environment Agency (NEA).Well,u decide. :)

My dad was telling me about an incident regarding his immediate supervisor and i guess it runs in the family when i say we have a high level of self-respect.My dad is working in the security line where he has been for the past 30 odd years and recently he got transfered to a different division per his request.Well usually he gets two days of rest day and four days of work and one of his rest days is known as support because he has the option of going back to work if there is a shortage of men. That is purely up to him.I think it was last Monday if im not wrong,he got a sms late at night from his superior telling him and few others to report to work the next day due to some idiots taking medical leave. The last words of that sms was what angered my dad,if you do not turn up,you will be dealt with seriously. I mean what the hell, its his bloody rest day and its entirely his wish whether he wants to turn up for support during his off day. I have had my fair share of incidents with this so called rank holders during my army days but as i was wrongly told to shut up no matter what this people say i had to endure all that without saying anything even though im in the right. So yeah going back to my dad, even though he was irritated with the msg he decided to head to work but the next morning he thought n thought n made up his mind.He hung his uniform back and went back to bed. You see, dats my dad for you,if u tell him nicely he will do anything for you but if u be an asshole he will be an even bigger asshole.Oh yeah did i mention that my dad tore up his sim card n told his superior he lost his pone.Lol,hes on a self created block leave till friday and he deserves every bit of this rest.Fuck authority.

Watching Man utd play for the past few games has made me lose some of my fingernails n probably some hair too.I admit that the overall performance of our play has not been at its best since our 4-1 defeat to Liverpool who btw have been knocked out from the Champions League.WAHAHAHAHA. I literally teared watching the drama of our 3-2 comeback win against Aston Villa.Haha but lets face it, we Man utd fans have been pampered by our heroes for the past few seasons so we should consider ourselves really lucky so lets not bother about losing a few nails n hair.I saw the repeat telecast of the Porto game today, take a bow Ronaldo. What a hit son! Next up,lets kiss the Gooners goodbye n await my dream final. Manchester United vs Barcelona!! OLE!

As i said,im always thinking and i have certain things to share. Firstly, why do people insist on going to the temple to pray when they have a prayer room at home? Isnt god suppose to be the same everywhere ? Secondly this is particularly for Indians, when we buy greeting cards, calendar, prayer items with god pictures on them, how the hell are we suppose to throw them away after use. Isnt it the same like we are disrespecting our god. Why is that men are the ones always subjected to remarks of changes in character for the worst after marriage? N lastly ok this is something that just came onto my mind. Are Indian actors and their female counterparts valued more for their acting abilities or their good looks? Like seriously how many of u even know who is cheran or pasupathi. Pwlesse la. I have been wanting to watch the Madhavan movie 'Evano Oruvan' ever since i saw the trailer last year.I went to the extend of recording the movie on my hubstation as i was busy the day they were showing the movie.Turned out it was worth my effort, wad a master class showing by Madhavan who in my opinion is one of the few true actors of our tamil cinema.I felt he deserved an award for the movie but alas due to the lack of support and publicity the movie didnt do well not only in India but in Singapore too. I seriously wonder if our Indian public know whats a good movie sometimes.Sad cos that movie i believe is in par with a Varnam ayiram or Naan kadavul.Oh well. Life goes on.

I miss my baby sayang mu... If I had the whole world to write on to express how much I love you, it wouldn't all fit.The road to true love was never easy, I know I've hit all the bumps, but now I'm standing strong saying, I love you,til the end of time.God sent u down like an angel to relieve me of the darkness in my life and theres no turning back now.Im sorry God,take my life away if you want but just dunt take my angel away.I love you. :)

Dunt count your chickens before they hatch.

Life can get crazy sometimes and last sat that reached an all new level. Man utd 1 Liverpool 4 ???!! Never in my flippin mind that i expected that scoreline especially at Old Trafford, the theater of dreams. It was certainly a dream or a nightmare that game, i was so disgusted that i changed the channel after Liverpool scored the 3rd goal.Me changing the channel in the middle of a Man utd game, ahah dat rarely happens so im sure u can understand my hatred for Liverpool and the agony of losing to our fierce rivals.I tried to sit down and analyze wad the hell just happened, how did we end up losing so badly ? I mean for those football fans out there who have been following the premier league this season will understand why i am so baffled.Anyway truth be told as it is whether you Liverpool fans like it or not,the scoreline flattered u fools.Surely it couldnt have been luck scoring 4 goals at Old Trafford and winning but 3 of those 4 goals could and should have been avoided.Nemanja Vidic would have cleared that ball into touch 10 times out of 10 but somehow he missed the ball and allowed Torres to slot it past the keeper. The second goal from the penalty spot, well i guess that was well earned by Gerard. The third AND fourth came after Vidic was sent off despite not being the last man, fucking ref.Liverpool were not brilliant neither were United that bad.The reason why Liverpool won was because of a very nervous performance from our defence. A draw would have been a fair result.Just a reminder to those Liverpool fans, one good result doesnt mean anything, we will still end up having more trophies than you come end of the season.I wonder how many Liverpool fans will think about this 4-1 result and gloat when we become the league champions for the 3rd year running while the Scousers ponder about the ifs and butts of yet another failed attempt for the title. He who laughs last laughs the loudest. :)

Yesterday was a nice day out with the gf.We made plans to go the beach but the weather started to be a real pain in the ass therefore we decided to play pool.It has been probably close to 2 years since we last played pool and the original idea was to play where we usually do which is at Jurong East. When we reached there we realised that the Jurong entertainment center was totally deserted and den it struck us that they have closed down the damn place. Grr. N so our destination was changed to Marina Square. : > I have nuthing against old folks trust me but the two old men who worked at the counter of the arcade cum pool place irritated the hell outta of me.Firstly they sounded as if they didnt want to be there and the tone of their voices are a turn off to those who patronise the place.I dunt understand why they find it so hard to even smile, you dunt have to talk a thousand words, just a thank you or a see you again sounds so much better than sounding all monotonous.Anyway enough of the old men and their attitudes,we had so much fun playing pool and i surprised myself to a certain extend. :P We had our oops moment as well, esp when one of my shot was miscued, bounced over one of the balls and went into the pocket like some trickshot stunt.Lol.It was nice relieving all those memories. We were both hungry after the game and we headed off to Swensens for dinner. If our day out playing pool was good, dinner at Swensens was even better. :P I still cant forget the ice cream that leaked from the ceiling, baby u better accept it.

Im seriously happy with the time im able to spend with my gf so far this year *touch wood* because last year was terrible when it came to how much we both spent time together.Im sure all those who patronise my blog know exactly what im talking about.Less than a month to go before i start my new semester and i have promised myself that im going to work even harder to reach my Uni dreams. :)

Where were we ?

Ok i understand my last post was somewhere around Thaipusam but fret not im back with the necessary updates.Lets see,oh yesh Valentine's day. V day was short and really sweet, met my sayang after her school which was around 5plus with a bouquet of tulips and a teddy bear in hand. The teddy bear has incidently been named 'Backside' by my gf. Grr. Ok anyway,my princess was adamant on getting me a gift and she wouldn't have it any other way despite my refusals.Im now a proud owner of a beautiful French Connection timepiece which im proudly and carefully guarding because i can be rather rough when handling things as evident in the scratches in my previous watch and the missing stone in our couple ring. :/ Dinner was at the newly opened 'Anjappar' in the newly expanded Jurong Point. The service initially was farked up,we were made to wait outside for like ten minutes and the place wasnt even full, the staffs just looked n ignored us.Well they were forgiven soon enough because the food we ordered were superb,i had naatu kozhi briyani(country chicken) while baby had kaadai briyani(fowl)with soft shell crab and prawn masala. The thing to note here is that i was down with a bad fever the previous night so i defied logic when i finished my plate of briyani and all that i could get my hands on.I was down with a bad sore throat a few days after that. :D The usual thing to say but ill say it nevertheless,Feb 14th isnt the day love blooms out of no where,u should make it a point to show your love to not just your partner in love but to your family and friends who deserve it every day. :)

Faceless me with my Vday gift in Anjappaaar.

Exams came soon after.Haha,i did study for the papers though i know i could have studied harder.I realise now thats it essential to study every single day at least for 30 mins or an hour no matter how tired u are just to get some info through your head. The thing is sometimes ill be mentally drained that i usually reserve my revision for the weekends and now i know its not going to be enough. What's done is done,no point crying over spilled milk.Let the results come and we will see where im going to go from there.

Slumdog millionare.Yes the multi award winning movie.Kudos to AR Rahman who won two Oscar awards for best original score and best song for the movie.I watched the movie with baby and parents and i thoroughly enjoyed the movie,it was something different. It was nice to see people of other races coming down to support the movie that tells so much about the hard lives of those living in poorer areas of India.Anyway going back to AR Rahman, the song 'Jai Ho' was good but i feel that he has given songs way better than that. Its just amazing how suddenly he has so many fans here in Singapore, its as if AR Rahman just came onto the scene and pple have suddenly started joining his fan club in facebook.Lol,totally hypocritical. Dunt be so fake la.

Marley and me.Wipes tear.Ok i admit im a sucker for animals as i have mentioned before especially for those furballs.I couldnt stop my tears from flowing down when i was watching the movie eighth below and thats the movie like i have really teared for untill i watched Marley and me.Marley and me,a beautiful movie about the love that this couple has for a dog and the trials and tribulations they go through with him in their life. Its the last few parts thats most depressing when Marley eventually passes on.After watching the movie, baby is really strict on the fact that we are not going to get a dog or any other pet for that matter after our marriage. :( I agree with her though because im sure if we had a pet like Marley and when it eventually passes on,we would probably end up in depression.

What will i be without her. :)

It seems as if baby's school mates and friends are getting married one after the other,we recently bumped into one of her juniors in school with her husband and pregnant. .. Different people have different agendas to get married it seems. Some think they are have gotten the right partner so they get married, some wrongly think that their partner will change for the better after marriage(when will they ever learn.)and some marry because they think marriage strengthens the commitment btw them.Err.n of course we have the worse case scenario, the shot guns.Whatever the reason is,marriage is something that must be planned thoroughly well because its not going to be the few months prior to the wedding or the few months after that, this is a life long commitment.I have been hearing of cases where the guy is so loving when he is still a boyfriend but after marriage he suddenly becomes a very moody and unloving jerk.Marriage doesnt change anybody its we human who choose marriage as an excuse for our ridiculous changes and one of the more common reason i heard was the fact that it gets boring seeing the same wife everyday but just imagine the wife's trauma when she has to see your ugly face coupled with a lousy attitude every single day. Sheesh. As far as im concerned i cant wait to settle down with my gf,its something that im looking forward to and to start a family of our own and babies!! We both know it wont be anytime soon n im glad i have got someone as patient as her because i do feel bad when i hear of her friends getting married and i cant marry her anytime soon though i would just love to.Thanks for your patience sweetheart and ill make sure that its going to be worth the wait cos u deserve it honey. :)

I hope to blog more often and ill post something really interesting. Its been long since i got my fingers dirty so await the space.Alrite have to head to bed now.2am and just a few hours more before im up again. Grr. Seeya. Gdnitez.

Thaipusam.

Today is of course thaipusam,a rather auspicious occasion so wad better topic to begin my post with. Firstly here's a brief introduction on what is thaipusam all about.

Thaipusam is a Hindu festival celebrated in January or February annually. Thaipusam is actually derived from thai which means "10th", and pusam meaning "when the moon is at its brightest". It is thus celebrated when the moon is full in the Tamil month of Thai (between January and February). Dedicated to Lord Subramaniam, also known as Lord Murugan, the deity of youth, power and virtue, this festival is a time for repentance for devotees with celebrations carried out mainly at the temple. Devotees prepare themselves spiritually with extensive prayer and fasting before performing acts of penance or thanksgiving like carrying a kavadi from one temple to another. Often, sharp skewers are pierced through their tongues, cheeks and bodies as a practice of self-mortification. Offerings include fruits, flowers and pots of milk

Usually ill be in the streets of tekka now watching the kavadi processions with much interest but its been a few years since that happened.I dunt have anything against the festival itself but i feel that the integrity of the occasion has rather been lost.Let me explain. Each year during thaipusam,we are always bound to hear about some fights, mostly for the dumbest of reasons.I dunt get it,you are there for god n god alone than why do u have make a nuisance of yourself n cause so much of annoyance for those who came there for the right reasons.I personally have seen a guy beating up his gf/wife in the middle of a kavadi procession.Silly ol bastards, yeah u heard me. Secondly u have drunkards who come there to 'support' the friends who take the kavadi, shamelessly dancing and whistling. If u want to take kavadi or do something for god,u damn well do it the proper way.Thirdly u have kavadis with gang names on it and the 'supporters' shouting out their gang name, since when Lord Murugan became a member of A.S.T or P.H.T ? Someone pls clarify that for me. I just feel that some people take kavadi for all the wrong reasons but im sure the very same god will punish them so fret not. Lastly u have perverts who mix in among the crowd to take advantage of the ladies.Of all the places and occasions, these sickos choose to get horny during thaipusam, haven't these people heard of red-light districts ? It would piss me off big time if i bring a lady from my family to thaipusam n she gets molested, she would have been better of being home where she would at least have been spared the indignity. A classmate of mine told me that the Hindu Endowment Board has banned Urumi melam from being played at this year's thaipusam stating that urumi melam groups are trouble makers. Im not sure about the other urumi melam groups in Singapore but the particular classmate's group isnt such.My question is if they can ban Urumi melam groups from performing at thaipusam saying they are troublemakers, why do they allow bongos to be played by gangsters n rouges who tarnish the name of Thaipusam by letting them do what they do.Its time they revamp this whole Hindu Endowment shit and pass laws that make sense.

In-laws wedding anniversary dinner. Yesterday the in-laws arranged for dinner to celebrate their 26th year wedding anniversary, here wishing them lots more anniversaries to come. :) Dempsey road was the original destination, wonder why that sounds familiar.Haha anyway girlie was fasting so they had to shift the plans to Siam kitchen. It was fun as usual with the in-laws n girlie, wanted to join the lil one in having vege food but she forced me to have non-veg instead. *Innocent grin* Good food was followed by snapping of the cameras where a mini photo taking frenzy took place btw the two couples. :p Some of the pics for your viewing pleasure below ...

Vegetarian girlie and me.

The very pampered boy and mum.

Endrum pathinaru.

Ok yup US again. :P

Followed them home to spend a bit more time with girly as we are only going to be meeting a week later. On the way back to her place i saw my favourite stray cat, trust me its a mini version of a tiger. I rarely see stray cats that size so its not surprising that its a pampered feline none so by me.Spent a few minutes with the fatty before heading up to her place. Im just a sucker for furballs. *Hints* :P

Exams are just around the corner, glad to say preparations are going well.I just cant wait for the end of my exams.Ok den, till my next post. Sayonara. :)

Kong Xi Fat Choi

Gong Xi Fa Chai to all non-racist chinese makkals! Pardon my spelling if its cai n not chai, anyway its the thought that counts right.Im currently in the midst of my 4 day break and i finally studied today. :) Yesterday was dedicated to my sugar plum who just came back from a chalet, missed her loads even though it was just a couple of nights she was missing.Haha.It feels so weird to sleep at night without talking to her as its been the norm for the past 4 years.Ok anyway the usual reasons on y a person fail to update his/her blog, workload in school has been taking its toll and by the time i plan to blog something,my body gives up on me.Nothing much has happened since the last time i blogged,a couple of meetings with baby, one was to the library which went better than planned. We have decided we should head to the library more often. :) N the other was to the new n improved Jurong Point, they really do have some spanking new shops there now.So many shops and so many interesting stuffs to buy.We swensened and walked around, bought for baby this sweet lil scarf tat she is yet to wear for me. 'Glares lightly' We stopped by this new seafood restaurant tat looked posh but the signboard resembled like the ones they have in coffeeshops,ok my point is they had all this live seafood in those tanks located outside the restaurant and thats where baby and i saw this really really huge crabs.Seriously those things resemble creatures from some horror flick,am planning to go there soon just to try those crabs. Hahahah.

I will be having my exams in exactly 3 weeks time before i have an even longer break of 7 weeks.I am pretty much confident for most of my modules,a B for most is certainly in sight but alas..After a bloody long time,i have been made to look dumb by this module of C-programming.Im like the weakest in class where tat module is concerned and i just cant seem to absorb those irritating data into my brain. Its not that i have not been trying and it doesnt help if ur lecturer is those boring ones who teach exactly from the book n goes at fast speed, goodness noes where he is rushing to.Most of my classmates have already done this module before for at least a good six months or so they dunt find it a problem. There you have it,my cause of discomfort in school right now,all i know is tat i have 3 weeks to sort it out.God bless.I actually thought i was going to struggle in my maths module and to think im doing quite well for all my maths tests. Life. Anyway i realise it not the time to feel sorry for myself, anything is possible if u put ur mind to it.Lets wait n see.

I found this in a Facebook group.
Just for Fun - Outlandish Statements
Description:
You arrive one hour late to a party and find out you are the first one to arrive.

You spend ten minutes fake arguing with your guests who insist on washing their coffee cups.

You think it's perfectly normal to call someone who's 30 years younger than you "anna" just because he's behind a counter.

Your idea of a romantic night out is to eat mutton rolls watching a Tamil movie in a run down theater.

You accidentally walk into an oor picnic and walk out with ten large trophies.

You wear a suit to a wedding...and you are only 3 years old.

The wedding takes an hour and the group pictures take five.

Your mom and sister together own more jewelery than a Chinese jewelery store

Your parents' idea of a vacation is to go down to the temple in Pittsburgh.

You talk for an hour at the front door when leaving someone's house.

The second your guests leave the house, your parents start talking about them.

Your parents think going to McDonald's is a night out...nice break from takeouts from Babu Catering.

You rent a cassette from the grocery store, it's been dubbed 6 times...and you return it 3 months later.

You go to a Tamil Cultural program only to find one baratha natyam and six hip hop shows.

You think wearing a bullet proof vest is part of the normal attire for a dinner & dance.

You eat more mutton before 9 am than most people do in a month.

You are somehow related to every new friend you meet

Your remote control is still in its plastic packet

You get a 95% on a test and your parents ask 'What happened to the other 5%?!'

You stare at tamil people when the walk by

You see married couples kissing on TV but have never your mom and dad get within 3 feet of each another.

Your parents never address each other by name.

When you get your first part-time job, your parents expect you to give them half.

Your mother has a minor dispute with her sister-in law and doesn’t talk to her for 10 years.

Your parents say Swiss instead of Switzerland, Germany is German and England is London.

You transited through Germany but claim you were born in Sri Lanka.

You go to a party and your aunt comments on how your skin colour has changed.

You watch a Tamil wedding tape and all the songs from Roja are dubbed in it.

You have a token white/Chinese person as guests, and they all sit at the same table.

When the supply teacher took attendance and there was a sudden pause, you put your hand up and said "here."

You shortened your name to make it sound Anglo.

You have dinner at 10 pm.

When your parents say 'BBC' they don't mean the news station but your uncle Nathan or aunty Kamala.

It's normal for all the relatives to bathe the groom on his wedding day.

Your parents drive half way across the city to 'Basic Foods' just to save a quarter off toilet paper.

You KNOW that your promiscuous second cousin on your father's side is pregnant even before she does.

Your aunties tease you about a particularly eligible cousin....and you like it!!

You can be tried at the war crimes tribunal if you go to a foreign country and don't visit ALL your relatives there.

You were the only kid that took a three course meal of pittu, fried egg, and banana to school.

You serve all your guests tea with milk and 5 spoons of sugar.

You only stop putting more rice on your guest's dinner plate 7 times after they tell you to stop.

anytime you speak back to your parents, you get:

" I toiled my life for you, and this is how you repay me"- Naanga eppadi khasta pattathukku nee ithuvum kathaipa ithukku melayum kathaipa"

Any girl in her tweens is subjected to - "eppa kundu poda poringal" - in terms of menstruation - nice symbolic metaphor..naan enna Osama Bin Laden-ah illati hiroshima-va?..Bloody fools

If you are a girl, you are expected to come home before dark- however if its a son. "ok rasa poitu vaa..kavanam enna" .....- adi serrupaala

any word starting with an S , is actually pronounced beginning with "Is". ie: School= Is-kool

You know that you're Tamil when some one is sick at your home, your relatives will bring HORLICKS.

You know that you're Tamil when halfway through your shower you realize that your Head and Shoulders Shampoo is gone and has been replaced by Shiyakkai Shampoo.

You know that you're Tamil when you walk in to another Tamil family's house and they have the same furniture and dining set as yours!

You know that you're Tamil when your Mom is scared of every size of DOG!

You know you're Tamil when you bring mutton rolls, casseri and vadai to your school's bake sale.

You know you're Tamil when your parents expect you to know every word in the English dictionary. If you don't, they'll ask what they teach you in school.

You know you are Tamil when you put your jewelry in a biscuit tin.

You know you're tamil when your parents tell you should be getting a 100% in English because you speak it fluently.

You know you're Tamil when you use your dishwasher and oven as a storage area.

You know you are Tamil when the sofa in the living room is covered with a bed sheet.

You know you're Tamil when your house smells of curry powder and spices but you don't realize it until your White friends come over.

I have no qualms about saying that it has to be an Indian soul who did up this list. I admit that yes some of the things in that list do happen but i find it dumb tat you actually want to do up something like this to embarrass your own race. Its actually a group that exists in Facebook and we have so many of our Indian friends joined there proudly endorsing such stupidity. Being an Indian is your identity, even if you are not proud of it,there are others who are. If u feel you are too good to be an Indian, jolly well change your race.

Approaching our 4th year together, seems like it was just yesterday i held your hand for the first time n i still get scolded for holding your hand the wrong way.Haha.Love you babygirl, get well soon.

Hello 2009 .Cya 2008.

N now to my first post of 2009.This new year was very much better than the last for me,the eve as usual was spent at home with parents and sister.Started off the new year with prayers at home before paying my grandma a visit, spent some time with her before going down to baby's place.I was planning to surprise her over at her place on the eve and spending the first min of the new year with her but baby already had plans. Nevertheless what matters most is that i met her on new year's day and spent quality time together and not forgetting my new year gifts. :P After that i went back home to get ready to attend a gathering at my auntie's place, that sums up my new year and i was satisfied with the way my year started off because i managed to meet most of the people who mean a lot to me. Oh btw,a million thanks to all those who wished me. Appreciate it. :)

Im not sure how 2009 is penned out for me but 2008 was memorable in its own right. The year 2008 started with me still unable to get over the fact that im no longer an ITE student, that's cos i have graduated. Its just that the two years there were simply wonderful as i have mentioned numerous times before.Anyway that was that and than i started work as a technician at the airport, the workload was high but pay was higher and in the first three months i worked there,i managed to improve my bank balance considerably.I would say that on the financial side last year was good as i could pay for things more often using cash from my own wallet.March came by and so did the troubles.Mas Selamat Kastari magically vanished and my reservist duties came calling.Meetings with my gf reduced drastically and the next few months were mostly spent in some remote island or some run down training shed. Those few months were definitely the worst of the year, without question.March was also the month where i got the results of my poly application and sadly it was deemed unsuccessful.I got to give a special mention to my loved ones who encouraged me at the point of time, namely my parents,my gf and my best friend. My dad suggested meeting the MP and to see how it goes from there and thanks to Mr.Alvin yeo and his letter of recommendation i find myself in Singapore Poly.July was my Certificate of Merit award ceremony, definitely one of the most proudest moments of my life going up on stage and being recognised as the Ite class of 08.August.Babygirl's birthday.Haha,i can still remember the look on her face when i surprised her on midnight on her birthday. One of the highlights of the year. :P That was followed by the Sinda award ceremony in September,it certainly feels good when you get appreciated for your hard work.I hope that will continue in the years to come as i know im not going to stop working hard anytime soon.October.I officially became a student of SP n the journey is continuing and im enjoying every min of it. :) N there you have it,a summary of my year of 2008.Good or bad,i know its going to be a hell of a ride in 2009 so hang on tight. :)

2008 wasnt the best of years for the couple i must say.Our meetings reduced drastically over the course of the year so much so that we were unable to meet even on Valentines day and our 3rd year anniversary and than like all couples we had some nasty arguments and the problems that came with it to content with. Our plans to have a mini getaway was stalled after the problem in Bangkok n etc.Amidst the problems,i can safely say that we got to know more about each other and that has definitely strengthened our love even more. Its true when people say things happen for a reason.I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to my gf for not being able to spend enough quality time last year and doing all those things we wanted to do.N thanks for being ever so understanding during my reservist call ups n for showing me all the love i needed during my times of distress.Ur special and im glad that your mine. :)As far as this year goes,we are definitely going to have more meetings and loads more fun.We have certainly had a good start havent we baby ? :P

Presenting to you..Our Holland Village escapade...

Ok i realise i typed a lot already so ill let the pics do the talking. Plenty more to be found in baby and my facebook account.

Many more to come. :) Library with Baby tomm. Grins.
