A day dat will always be a part of me. :)

28-07-08.. Just a day before my graduation ceremony n i still haven got my stuffs yet. Lol,im still a last min person when it comes to certain issues but anyway i met up my sweetheart after work. Headed down to Cp to get my formal wear according to the dress code dat was mailed to me some one month back. Got myself a white shirt,black pants tat cost me 60 bucks.. :/ formal shoes n a couple of ties. Speaking of ties,the last time i was wearing a tie was back in secondary school which is seriously a long time back. I was hoping to get myself this ready made ties dat u just have to hang ard ur neck n pull according to wad my dad said as hes equally hopeless in tying a tie .Haha sori dad. Baby actually asked the old uncle who was at the cashier if he could teach me how to tie the tie,had to take out my tee i was wearing at the cashier counter itself n wear my white shirt..Paisei but i guess its no harm learning.He tied the tie for me n took it out to show me how to do it,i kinda understood i guess but if u were to ask me to tie it like after an hour im sure ill have no clue wad so ever.. :P N to think he actually told me baby dat im a fast learner. WAHAHAH. Oops.. N baby sori for making u walk ard with me while i was getting my stuffs n all as i noe ur feet was hurting thanks to ur heels.. I think u deserve a solid foot massage but ur fasting at the moment so we shall reserve it in another 2 weeks time. :P Love u gal,ill seriously be lost without u.. N so the couple headed home as i wanted to see my in-laws as well as to learn how to tie the tie online.. LOL! The drama dat we shared while i was learning was priceless.LMAO! Ok i noe i messed it up at first but baby u didnt have to laugh dat much.grr.. But in all seriousness,its amazing the stuffs they have online these days,after a few attempts i finally did manage to tie the tie.. Whoever dat was teaching me on YOUTUBE,THANKS ALOT BRO..

29-07-08.. Graduation day. :) I was allowed to bring just two guests for the event held at NUS so the original plan was to go there with my parents. Unfortunately mum got ill in the morning prior to the event with a bad stomach flu so i ended go there with dad. Woke up early as in ard 11 to go online n once again practice my tie wearing,the tie dat i did for dad turned out good but the one i initially did for me was kinda well lets just say not to my expectations. We were to arrive there by 245 as the registration will close at 245 n late comers will not be entertained. We ended up reaching there at 230 n thankfully registration was done without much hassle. It was while i was there dat i realised that not all followed the proper dress code given,we were told to wear a long sleeved white shirt or a light colored one with a dark colored tie n black pants with office shoes. There were pple who were wearing short sleeved shirts,dark colored shirts n some were even without ties. Its kinda appalling dat this so call award winners cant seem to follow simple instructions. Before the actual award presentation started we were entertained by various cultural performances but surprisingly there was no Indian cultural performance.. Hmm.. Soon the guest of honour arrived n there was this 7 min clip on the class of 2008 ITE graduates. Before long the award presentation ceremony got underway,my turn came to go up on stage to receive my award n it was such an uplifting moment to be receiving my award from the guest of honour while the cameras were clicking away. :) I just hope i did my loved ones proud n throughout the event my mind was going down memory lane thinking about the enriching lessons i learned in ITE n to the first day of being a student there. Haha. By 530 everything was over n we headed down for the reception where i met my fellow award winner n a classmate of mine,it was nice meeting her after so long n catching up on stuffs.. We were not allowed to take pics in the premises so dad n i decided to take some pics n videos while waiting for our cab to arrive. :D Kinda irritated as the pics didnt really turn out tat good but im waiting for the pics dat were taken on stage which ill receive on 1st Sep. I was due another pleasant surprise when we got home,dad checked da mail box n passed me this big envelope dat was from Sinda.. Well the pleasant surprise is dat ill be presented this academic excellence award from Sinda on 20th Sep,the event will be held in NYP. Wad a memorable day it turned out to be,a day dat will forever be etched in me. Some pics from that day,sori for the poor quality though.

Time for a new blogskin.

I have gotten my old job back at Changi airport but with a new post.. Im pleased to inform to those concerned dat im now promoted to the post of Senior Technician. I have been going through an orientation period for the past few days to acclimatise myself with the new posting. Basically im now in charge of a few newbies at the place though i have to get in amongst the work as well so its not all about supervising. Its been good so far,the increase in pay will do wonders no doubt. Except for one particular newbie staff who happens to be an Indian man in his thirties. I have been hearing alot of stories about him from my boss n colleagues,of course i did attempt to find out if the stories were true so i gave a formal introduction of myself to him n asked him hows work so far.. He simply said oh n walked off. Im sure hes not retarded or has some speech impediment cos hes usually loud when hes on his handphone. According to my colleagues,he spends more time on the phone den he does working. I have the advice my baby gave me firmly on my mind each time i tend to him,Dont ever lose ur cool,Dont sound authoritative n always be humble but seriously i feel so tempted to open up my bank locker of vulgarities at him at times. Hes nonchalance noes no bounds it seems. Good enough u have a boss whos been patient with ur nonsense,at least do some work to be worthy of the pay ur getting. Well,im not gonna let him spoil my tenure there as Senior Technician,im there to work n work is wad ill do. :)

Dhool 08's first episode will be shown on V.central today,if im not wrong its the audition part. You can see from the promo itself dat teams n faces dat u have already seen in previous versions of Dhool are once again participating this year as well. I do not noe whether to praise them for their determination or just to say give it a break guys,give those new faces a chance. U decide on dat. Im not a dancer,i have not learned dance of any kind before but i do know how to appreciate good dance perfomances. Who can we recognise here in Singapore as a good Indian dancer?? Rameshwara ??? Shaking ur hands n legs fast n furious is seen as good dancing here,the standard of dance here among our Indian groups are pretty much the same with the usual dance steps dat i first saw when on tv when i was a young kid. How has the standard of dance among our Indian dancers improved over the years,not much if u ask me. A good dancer must be able to dance any given genre of dance presented to him not just specialising in one type of dance for years,take Triadic for example who were so popular last time ard cos they danced Hip Hop which kids nowadays have grown accustomed to.. But.. Too much of one thing becomes boring n dats y they were eliminated eventually. Well,enough of the critics let the show begin.. :)

Cobwebs no more..

The cobwebs have been dusted off my blog for now.. N so i return.. Since my entry into Sp has been delayed to October,call ups from the green pple have resumed.. Sadly..
N yes for those curious souls out there who keep asking y so many call ups,the truth is out here. First up im not studying at the moment n im not working either as i previously stopped my work in Changi airport as my study term was due to start on July 15. N 747 GDS just love to have pointless call up exercises more den any other reservist units.. My luck..
Well im going to have a talk with my former boss at Changi airport to see if i can come back to work there on a part time basis n the signs are looking positive.. Seriously i had enough of wasting my time in a camp tat would make a top class shooting spot for any horror flick...

Plans for our overseas trip have stalled due to problems with the return flight n have been rescheduled to a later date in August. I guess theres a reason for everything n im sure this delay is for the betterment of our long awaited getaway. Babygal has started her one month fast n so our onli outings for this month is going be to the temple if not a vegetarian meal together,im gonna pray for her fast to be a successful one.. Im just proud to have a pious gf like her n the best thing abt it is dat she actually means it instead of faking it..

I have a ITE graduation ceremony to attend this coming 29th to receive my Certificate of Merit award.. I was actually thinking its going to be some informal event but the programme list tells otherwise n the dress code is even scarier. Formal wear with tie n tucked in shirt n dats so not me .. Haha.. Gotta do my formal wear shopping n the best part of it all,my dad Mr.Rajasekaran has to wear a tie too. LOL! Hmm..wonder if ill receive ne cash award ..

Congrats to my bestu friendu Reghu for completing his nightmarish 3mth plus BMT n finally getting posted out .. Cheers on ur new 8-5 posting wadever it maybe .. :D If onli i was this lucky from 1 guards i was posted out or should say in to 1 guards for the rest of my 2 years.. Knn.

The couple watched Hancock last last Sunday .. Lol yeah dats kinda long oh heck. Just before i went to watch the movie my sis told me dat she heard dat movie was rather lousy but im the kind who never listens to wat pple say abt their opinions on movies n so we did end up watching it. It was good tat movie,had a bit of everything in it n it wasnt like any typical superhero movie. Pity the popcorn n the cheesy hotdogs sucked .. But the company was beautiful as ever . N baby thanks for the wonderful pasta u cooked up for me dat day. U were not feeling well n yet u were so enthu about cooking for me n sweetheart dat was one of the best meals ever. :)) Next time ill cook alrite. :) Cant wait. Another part of the meal dat i enjoyed was the grocery shopping ,we both had no clue wadsoever on wad we were buying but in the end everything turned out just nice.. Haha.. Sweettt..

I love my new pone..Like finally a proper pone dat satisfies my daily needs.. Thanks for the pick honey. :)

26/06/08,the day where Ashwin darling was celebrating his 5years bdae bash. Met my Queen at Jurong Point to get prezzie for the birthday boy as his house was just ard the corner n just few streets away from mine. We went n surveyed our choices in kiddy palace n toys r us n decided to get like a kurtha's top for him as the lil fella is full of toys at hm. Ull be able to see the birthday boy posing in his new top in the pic below,haha cutie pie. After a few months i was finally meeting the Rajan family members inclusive of the kutties Aswhin n Roshini n the excitement was there to see.. Ashwin didnt want to cut the cake till we arrive n dat was so sweet of the lil one. :)
Overall it was a fun filled evening with the loved ones.. Here are some pics from the event.

It was a wonderful weekend to say the least.. Shall not elaborate much more den dat.
Prolly in my next post. Shifting gears now,i realise my gf has been asked one question rather frequently this past few weeks. Let me rephrase that question n it goes like this,Do my parents noe dat she is my gf ? When am i going to introduce her to my parents ? All of a sudden the anxiety level is rising among her loved ones regarding our future. I understand its the concern for my gf dat made them ask this questions in the first place,if its just concern den so be it. As far as i go,i do not like to be made to look like a insincere fraud but i do feel such questions seem to be asking questions about my commitment to our r/s. Sori but its just me. The questions like wad if this happens wad if dat happens, as a gal ull be the one who will be affected doesnt speak really good abt me as the bf. Im not ur average lover boy who makes love with his gf the previous nite n proudly reveal the details of it to his drinking buddies the day after. Im dead serious in my relationship n i do noe how to treat my lady right. Thanks alot for the concern n i hold no anger or bitterness when i say this but im just taking this opportunity to assure those loved ones out there dat i do noe wad im doing n we are matured adults who have our future together very much in our minds. :)
