The Open House..

I had an enjoyable time albeit a busy time on sunday at my girlys place where she had an Deepavali open house.. Her house looking as beautiful as the princess living in it n she was simply ravishing in white.. :) Reached there ard 6 ,by the time only mums long time friend's family was ard.. Really sweet pple,i got to say they were a lively bunch... The caterers came down to arrange the food,there was this one particular guy who asked for a kettle of water to prepare the lime juice and when my gf brought him to the kitchen,he actually asked her if the water was good.. WTF! Why would we wanna give our own guests lousy water ? Sheesh... Slowly the guests trickled in,mostly it was dads work friends who i could see were really enjoying their time there .. Haha of course we are a pretty good host u noe .. I spent my time helping out in wadever way i could, just a small help on my part to make the event a success.. N yes it turned out to be a very good get together event ,everyone were having fun,the food was wonderful n the children who came down were simply adorable.. There was this cute babyboy who goes by the name of Benito who mumbles when he gets sleepy n its not those soft mumbles u noe , he really made sure we heard him .. Lol . The best part is though he was sleepy he just didnt want to go to bed , my gf tried to put him to sleep by putting him on her shoulder but he just got restless n ended up resting his cheeks on her cheeks. I actually carried him n it was certainly a nervous start for me carrying a baby but i enjoyed having him in my arms , the lil one was busy looking ard though.. N den there was this small girl who offered me a fork when i went near her , i thought she wanted me to keep the fork but when i placed it on the table ,she passed me another one n den i realised she wanted me to get her a jelly . Lol. After all tat hassle , i gave her the jelly but she dropped it on the floor. Children.... After sending of the last family who were the very famous Rajen uncles family ,my babe n i just crashed onto the couch n spent some much needed quality time albeit a short one,definetly the highlight of the day. :)))
