Before i start off my post,i would like to wish all muslims a very happy hari raya puasa. :)

Sinda excellence awards at Nyp- 20-09-08.

It was yet another day that i will look back with a lot of pride. I appreciate the efforts that Sinda puts in to highlight and honour Indian students from Primary schools all the way up to those in Universities and also schools such as the Singapore sports school and NAFA. A certificate it may be but a memorable accolade nevertheless. :)

Finally Dhool 2008 has come to an end but i must say that im more den happy with who were chosen to be the winners. Justice was served with Aerocrats who for me have been the best group ever since they made their debut during the quarter-finals of the competition. I have never been a big fan of such local shows because i feel politics and stupid decisions play a part of some capacity but for probably the first time a local dance group has impressed and made a fan out of me. Congratulations to Aerocrats,u deserved every bit of the standing ovation u received.

This was my favorite performance as it was also one my fav songs of all time they were dancing for. Enjoy and be impressed.



Alas,trust the producers of Dhool 08 to shoot themselves in the foot once again by presenting Apsara Asia a 'special award' for being the judges favourites.Now i wonder if anyone saw that coming,not me for sure unless Apsara Asia are if rumours are to be true one of the sponsors for Dhool 08..

My sweetness will be fasting a month for theemethi so we made the most of our meetings on Sunday and Monday to get some quality time together.Quality time we got indeed,Sunday was spent at her place as the lil one Ashwin was staying over. Haha,had so much fun playing with him and joining him in the imaginary roles created by the smarty pants.Oh yes had delicious home cooked food to go with all the fun i had,thanks for the corn mutton mum. :) No time in the world is enough when you got kids with you and well i just cant wait to have kids of our own with my queen but before that comes money,stability and most importantly marriage la. Monday was spent at the theater as we made plans to watch Mama mia. . . It was certainly not my type of a movie,heck i know its a musical dedicated to the popular group ABBA but there were just too many songs. Yes it was entertaining and lively though the story line was poor so watch the movie only if your a fan of ABBA. The only upside was the fact that i had baby with me,her company always make my day no matter how rubbish the movie is. :P

Ok i know i was due to blog about thanthai Periyar but guess what,my birthday just ended last saturday so here i am with my birthday post. :) Ok i know i said this in my last year's birthday post but ill say it again,this was one of,if not the most memorable birthday i had in recent memory. Its not just about the gifts n treats but its also the number of people who wished me that made it memorable as well. I would like to thank each n every one of ya who took the trouble to wish me,not only your wishes but you guys are much appreciated by me. :)

Im still awaiting the treat my parents promised me so that will be than,was unable to celebrate the day with my family being the busy workaholics they are.Besides that i was kinda worried that i needed to wear my green uniform on my birthday as im sure u know about this green people as my precious loves to call them. First up i was treated to a sumptuous fish briyani lunch cooked up by my lovely grandma and maid after which i spent some time with them before leaving to my queen's home.What would my birthday be without my second family, rite? haha :P I was presented two polo tees and a beautifully written card by the darling,oh yeah the pink hush puppies tee rawked honey. So now your long time wish of seeing me in pink is finally coming true. :o

Dinner was at No Signboard Seafood,the last time i was there was at the Vivocity outlet during my post birthday dinner organised by my sweetheart. This time we chose the one at the Esplanade and the rest was history. Butter prawns,chilli crab,deer meat in garlic..i think :P, sambal kangkong,seafood fried rice and chinese tea filled up our table,not sure if i missed anything out..Pardon me im just exhausted today.. :D Soon enough the birthday cake for the birthday boy was getting decorated with candles n i become the center of attraction. There were some nice expatriates who sang along n clapped which was so nice of them and they had the courtesy to wish me even though we are strangers. That made my day even sweeter i must admit,haha. Oh yesh there was this cute but cranky ang moh babygirl who got so freaked out when dad went over to her n passed her the cake that she was running under the table lol but after a while when i turned to look at her she was enjoying with the strawberry in hand and gave me this sweet lil smile that would melt anyone let alone me. Awww..

I know you wouldnt like me thanking you and stuff but the fact of the matter is i started celebrating my birthdays grandly back again ever since you came into my life.When i come to think of it,if i had'nt known you and parents i would have had much of a birthday,im not saying my own family doesnt care about me but i would have celebrated with them later rather than on my birthday so ill probably be home doing nuthing much if i was single. I am able to be blogging and posting all those pictures we took and looking back at the sweet memories is because i have you my life and i thank you for that my Queen. :) Let it be cheesy i couldnt give a rat's puny ass for that,i mean it from the bottom of my heart. Love you.

I am deeply impressed with this man's revolutionary thinking and the reforms he created. Yes many may dislike him because he is a atheist but not all who believe in God are good humans and at the same time being an atheist doesnt make anyone a bad person either.I will be blogging about Thanthai Periyar and what exactly impressed me about him.Ok i know hes not a handsome movie star or a celebrity but i believe hes better,so i hope people would actually spend some time reading my next post and send me some comments if u prefer. MTV.. Most trash viewing

This are some of the most crappiest n time wasting shows ull ever see.. I happen to watch this particular show on MTV called parental control and there was this other show called the X-effect,seriously such shows explains wads wrong with youths these days.I dunt want to sound like an old man but this shows are just plain stupid,cleverly made to attract the naive. Wad? U dunt believe me den i suggest u read on..



Show summary- If you were reunited with your former love, would you close the door on the past or re-kindle the flame? This is just the question that MTV's new show The X Effect asks. We invite two exes and their current significant others to a romantic resort for what both couples thing will be a weekend of romance, heartbreak and revelations. Once we get there, however, only the exes are invited to stay, while the new partners are sent home. Or so it seems. What the exes don't know is that their new loves will be spying on their every move.

As the exes revisit the past "in private," feelings resurface and relationships are put to the test. The significant others find out how their partners really feel--and learn that sometimes the truth hurts.

N in that episode dat i was watching the two exes ended up making out n i guess it happens just about every single time in that show.Wheres the god damn commitment,down ur white ass? For those who haven watched this show,heres wad i mean.

In the episode that i watching this young lady who already happen to have a bf n hes one of those obnoxious fellas ard so her parents will be setting her up on a blind date with a guy chosen by each of them. I cant seem to understand something,why would u go on a blind date even though u have a bf n since u noe ur bf is a jerk y dunt u just leave the bloody r/s instead of frolicking ard with a couple of strangers before deciding finally that your bf is not the one for u. Jesus.. I couldnt manage to get a video for this show but im sure u got the idea. :)

Last but not least and prolly the most retarded one of them all,i present to you.The blond bitch is at it again and this time she has created this reality series in a bid to find her new..no not bf but best friend. Yes u thats exactly wad its about.

Its kinda worrying that we youths are easily attracted by sex n sleaze,i cant accept if you are going to say that you watch it for the entertainment..pls dunt.. You switch on the tv set to watch such crappy reality shows in anticipation whether this cute guy is going to end up kissing some girl or whether this busty girl is going to end up making out with someone. They say you are what you eat,its not wrong when i say you are what you watch..As a guy i get so irritated n flustered watching an ex-couple making out in the full view of their new partners so much so that i switch off the damn tv n am tempted break the remote control..overly sensitive yeah i may be i rather be overly sensitive than to be fake.Im not saying that you cant watch such rubbish,in fact who am i to even suggest that,im just letting of steam on wad i think.Its after all my blog my rules aint it.

Rantdom

I did some editing to my previous post,been wanting to do it for some time now n finally got the time for it. :)

Wall-E was really good. The couple met up to catch the movie last week and we werent disappointed. A very well made movie which brought tears to my gf's eyes,not really surprising if u know her like i do.. Haha. Im a sucker for such cartoon movies n i have been wanting to watch it ever since i saw the trailer on tv,next on the list would be the upcoming movie,'Bolt',right baby? Lmao. Anyway i saw the trailer of 'Bangkok Dangerous' starring Nicholas Cage and it seems to be those kinda movies that would bring in good crowds week in week out,already i have been hearing good reviews about it.

Yes after a long break im back ranting about Dhool08. :) I saw the first semi-final yesterday n let me cut to the chase by saying only 2 out of the 3 groups chosen yesterday deserved to be in the final. Im sorry Tridiac fans but your group barely made it to the finals,im sure if they were to be in 2nd semi-final held next week they wouldnt have made it based on their performance yesterday. Their 80s dance was just messy to put it plainly,it seemed like the guy dancing in the center was the lead n the fellas around him were back up dancers.Each of them were doing their own moves n it was confusing to watch,bottom line is Tridiac struggles each time they choose to dance something which is not Hip-Hop.On the other hand Kali dancers who i dunt think performed any worse then Tridiac at least danced a few genres of dance in their 80s performance but they didnt 'make it' according to the judges.I also think that the management team of the show should look into the fact that certain teams who qualify earlier to the semis den others have more time to practise n improvise compared to those who qualified for the semis just a week earlier. How on earth could this be fair ? Kudos to Killabeez who impressed yet again n RSR who made dancing fun again..

My tummy is crying out for some food. Hungry laaaa.....
