Surprise...

I noe that my birthday ended last thursday but thanks to my babygirl it kinda got extended till yesterday.. Lol.. Boy did i have fun yesterday.... A whole lotta good food it has to be said.. :P Baby was telling me the whole week dat shes got a surprise for me on sunday n here i was basically tearing out my hair to figure it out .. Notti.. Yesterday was the much anticipated day , got up at ten when i was supposed to head to her place to wake her up at ten,lol,reached her place ard 12 ,GOD DAMN CABS N INCONSIDERATE MINDLESS SINGAPOREANS.. The both of us n darling mum left for Vivocity in which the surprise was to be,after a few mins walk we reached the place where it was all food chains n all n suddenly i found myself walking to this restaurant with no signboard.. Yeshy this posh restaurant which resemebled more like a hotel was actually called THE NO SIGNBOARD SEAFOOD,kewl eh .. The restaurant which my sweetie pie has placed a reservation for as my birthday treat.. :) The first thing that caught my eye was the extravagant deco n the quiet ambience which seriously makes u feel at home... Glancing thru the menu card,i could see that the prices were a bit too high n she actually didnt enquire about the prices before booking the reservation .. As long as u like the food she went, they just dunt come sweeter den u precious.. :) We had sambal kangkong which is a must with butter prawns , deep fried sambal garoupa n fried rice n jasmine tea .. They actually take the seafood from the aquariam they have n cook it straightaway,now thats wad u call fresh seafood.. Memories of Bangkok drifted to n fro while waiting for the delicacies n if there was a meal tat would beat the Bangkok dinner i had ,this would be it.. The butter prawns esp oozed of butter n it just melts in ur mouth .. Damn im getting hungry thinking abt it.. It was a wonderful lunch n everyone one of us enjoyed it thoroughly n it was all possible thanks to my honey pie baby.. :) After the meal we headed out to take some a couple of snaps of the restaurant just for ur viewing pleasure.. :D Hey the foods really good n its money well spent so go on n try it , die die must try.. Haha. Feel like im an ambassador of Makansutra.. It wasnt just abt me yesterday, i gave my darling n her mummy presents too.. :) I got them both this handpone decos,u noe the stuff u hang on ur hp with extra bells . lol . Glad they like it .. :) The couple den headed home to catch Vasantham star n most importantly spend some quality time together which we did,its moments like this dat we both crave for as it gives us a feel of how its like to be as a married couple being home .. Yeah the things we experience n experiment.. Theres onli one US.. :) I just wanna end my post by saying that my 24th birthday has been one of my best ever n no i didnt celebrate my 21st birthday cos i dunt believe in tat but i can say tat his year was like a 21st birthday bash if not better.. Thanks to someone whom i regard as my better half n someone who always disregards the beautiful changes she has brought to my life when its so clear that i have just started my life all over again.. God they say lays the law but we have the power to change it if we want.. Dunt wori abt the wad ifs n the wad nots amma,remember the way we want to live our lifes n all the times we have talked abt the scenarios ,haha.. Thats how good its gonna be.. I love u n thanks not onli for the surprises but also for accepting me 2 n a

half years back when i was a nobody.. :)

One year older ..

13.09.83 .. Yes its the day i landed out of my mummys womb n out into the wide widee world.. :) That would officially have increased my age by one yesterday .. Lol ok if u still dunt get it,it was my birthday yesterday.. :D I dunt really think much about my birthday cos to me its just another day of my life n a day dat informs me on how old i have become n how less i have achieved.. :) Haha im sure its gonna change in my birthdays to come as im no longer that timid,irresponsible,lazy nerdy goon anymore... :) Yesterday was really special though ... Really special... Celebrations at home have been planned for a later day due to work committments n so i headed down to meet my special one ,wad would my bdae be without her .. She wanted to get something for me n wanted me to be there when she got it so we met up at causeway point after her work. Headed to bits n pieces to check out the rings there n baby n myself liked this particular ring i tried on but i was a bit hesitant cos it was 50 bucks.. Well so i decided to head down to 77th street to check out the accessories there cos tat was my original plan with her. We saw the rings there n i chose one,i think it looked really nice n the price was good as well but baby was seriously not happy . ;/ She bought it for me though but she got all cranky cos she wanted so badly to get me the ring we saw in bits n pieces.. I wanted to have pasta so we went to Swensens next to have our dinner ,ok the initial part of the dinner didnt go well as i was trying my best to cheer her up n all.. Its all in da game .. Suddenly she went .. No im gonna get that ring n dats dat,she suggested going there to get it after dinner ... At that point of time i was just happy dat she was talking to me n all but i was just touched dat despite me already getting for me a ring she was willing to spend on another one just cos it looked nice on my fingers... Its not onli that she got me the rings n everything else she did for me on my bdae dat prompted me to post abt this specifically but the love tat she showers me, im just lucky .. God damn lucky.. She got me tat ring as well n i had her name engraved on it .. :) The name on the ring just beautifies the ring even more n no im not exaggerating .. :) The card was seriously sweet as well n the cakee too ...... Thanks alot ma.. Wads with the thanks i noe ull ask ,but i just cant help it .. Thanks for everything ,u never cease to amaze with my the love u show.. :)

Ok its movie review time... Coincidentally the last two movies that i have seen simply rocked.. First up the movie tat really is spooky cos it has something to do with dolls ,ventriloquist dolls to be exact.. Let me enlighten u on wad ventriloquism is all about in the first place,its eerie trust me . . The Greeks called this gastromancy and it was often closely aligned with aspects of necromancy in that it was used to make it seem that the spirits of the dead had returned to pass on information retrieved from beyond the grave. In the Middle Ages it was thought to be similar to witchcraft. As spiritualism led to stage magic and escapology so ventriloquism became more of a performance art as, starting around the 16th century, it shed its mystical trappings. This is seriously a reality check if u think ventriloquism is all abt puppets n hee hee haa ha.. Dead Silence is one movie tat kept me wanting more scene after scene .. Great movie..

























Ok now to the next movie tat i watched just yesterday, Premonition.. First, let's discuss the title. If you get the feeling that something is going to happen and you take action to prevent it from happening, the feeling becomes pure imagination. For a premonition to work, it has to happen, no matter what is being done to prevent it. That pretty much sums up the theme of the movie, one thing dat disappointed me early on was the fact that the title pretty much reveals everything abt the movie but if u forget all tat n pay attention to the storyline ull say its a fabulous production.. If ur looking for a movie to watch, better go catch this two movies ..






















I noe i hve brought this up before n sori im coming back to the same point,but hey y am i even apologising.. So screw it n back to the point.. Vasantham Star 07 .. After todaes episode, somethings really got to be done abt the damn sms voting n quick... Its a clear example todae of popularity over true ability,the mere fact that u have more frens makes u better den ur competitors, absolute political bullshit.. Neela came in 3rd overall even though she was somewhere at the bottom rung after the judges call n den came the 'how much frens i hve contest' n wella suddenly shes number 1 n eventually came third.. Haaaa.... Dinesh is already a singer at Vasantham n wads he doing there, Devarajan u must add came all the way to the final the last time they had Vasantham star but after tat we rarely saw him singing.. His determination n desire to get the crown this time is justifiable if u ask me .. My vote for V.star this time goes to either Ebi Shankara or Devaraj.. Agree with me or not ,its not as if i could give a hoot or two.. Enough of the politics n its time to pay homage to REAL talent for once..

Stephen mere bhai..

Lol. Interesting title eh.. Since i hve nuthing much to post abt,i wish to tell u guys abt a classmate n fren who goes by the name of Stephen among others.. hAA . Im sure my bestu noes wad im typing abt.. Ok anyway lesson went ahead as usual todae n after some time Stephen 'walked' into class n being the very good student tat he is immediately came over to my table where me n my other mates were doing the days assignment.. I was just concentrating on the task at hand without paying him much attention n dats when my bestu told me something dat i hope i dunt get to hear often. Rotflol !! 'Hey bro,Stephen wearing this polo tee inside out la' Lmao ! I just calmly raised my head n turned to Stephen n yes he was wearing his polo tee the other way out... He actually was wearing it from the time he left his house to the skool without even getting the slightest hint.. ;/ Dunt get me wrong .. Hes a nice fella who doesnt hesitate to help when approached but the thing is to say tat hes an irritating specimen would be an understatement. He apparently has a knack of gettin on the nerves of my bestu with his eccentric actions n tones n he actually imitates his eating style. i noe.. There are times in class where i need some peace n tranquility ard n dats when he will keeep yakkin away to me about things as irrelevant as chicken in a vegetarian buffet.. So ladies n gentlemen, morale of the story here is ,i didnt just post this cos i hve nuthing else to blog abt,im actually giving u guys a fair warning .. Be very careful when u choose ur friends cos once u get a Stephen,its bye bye to SANITY.. :/

Some weekend it was..

A mixed past couple of days it was , especially on babys bdae where things particularly didnt turn out too well n a pretty bad tearful end to the day among other things . :P Sori for the tears moi but u noe i love u so so so much.. Yes yes i made her cry on her bdae n onli i noe how bad i felt for her ... Darn.. But Saturday was a much better day for the both of us, haha not before some drama cos i had to let her noe of her surprise we planned.. Baby was so stubborn in wanting to noe.. Notti girl... Well the surprise was her parents n myself planned to bring her to Oriental hotel for a surprise post bdae dinner.. We got the reservations ready cos my babys dads sister works there u c... Wow,it was my first time going there n i was so darn impressed with wad i saw .. Certainly lived up to its 6 star ratings. . The buffet style dinner was sumptous to say the least n quite frankly if it was just me n baby i would have certainly ate more .. :P The auntie requested the chefs to make a few special dishes for the bdae baby which was a rather sweet gesture on her part . :) After the dinner the family walked ard the hotel to snap a few pictures , a good memorable end to babys post bdae bash..
